NCAA Northeast Regionals - Women

Updated: Nov 16

Hopkinton NH

What a RACE today! The course was fantastic and well-groomed, the sun shone brightly all day. And that first hill! Sheesh, this old man was huffing and puffing walking up the hill. NCAA Northeast Regionals!

University of Connecticut's Chloe Thomas led the women's race in a time of 19:23. It looked like smiles and laughs (and maybe a little conversation) coming over the hill on the second lap but most of the smiles were gone on that last lap.

Syracuse grabbed one of the automatic qualifier spots and will be going to the national meet. Savannah Roark was the top performer for the Syracuse women's team, finishing in 9th place overall with a time of 20:02.

Phoebe Anderson (Columbia) and Kimberly May (Providence) finished second and third.

The Providence college took the top qualifying spot and will take their powerful squad to the national meet.
